A LOOK INTO OUR HISTORY

Two yellowed documents, over 50 years old but still important; actually, vital. These are the Declaration of Wine Production dating from 1967 and the floor plans of the original winery buildings, which are still the beating heart of Tezza Vini after the modernization and renovation programme of 1998.
The simplicity of these documents brings a smile to our face, but they’re the testimony of year zero, the beginning of an adventure that is still ongoing today.
Today the winery has a much more modern look, but this doesn’t mean we’ve left tradition behind. The cement cisterns situated in the inner reaches of the cellar are still used today thanks to the uniquely stable temperature conditions found there.
Methods and instruments have changed, the capacity of the receptacles has grown from the original 950 hectolitres to over 8000, but the dedication and professional standards passed from one generation to the next remain unchanged.
